Penelope has a short leg cast on right foot and she is so tired of staying at home all the time. Because it’s so cold outside and her toes gets cold very fast, she don't want to be outside. She wants to do something and it came in her mind that she can go to a furniture store.
The furniture store is very big and she just wants the time to pass faster, then when she is home and feeling bored. Penelope crutches around in the furniture store and at one point she is tired and want to rest. She sits down on a pile of carpets and after the rest, she continues to crutch around in the furniture store. The scene ends when she gets back to the car.
